About the Doctor
Team Chiropractor - Idaho Steelheads - Strongman Competitor
Everyone opens this page expecting a third-person brag sheet about how fantastic this chiropractor is. I'm Dr. Steve Maier, the chiropractor behind Maier Chiropractic, and if that is what you are looking for, this may be a bit of a disappointment. You and I both know I am the one writing that stuff, so I am just going to cut the fluff and tell you about myself.
I graduated from the University of Western States in Portland a while back. I have been involved in just about every sport there is and have dealt with a wide variety of injuries from those sports-it either happened to me or to someone I know. Becoming a chiropractor showed me how valuable that experience is. When a patient comes in saying they have a "sore what-not" or an "injured this-and-that," I understand because I have seen it and treated it before. I have been the chiropractor for the Idaho Steelheads hockey team for the last decade, so believe me when I say I have seen and treated a lot of injuries.
How I am different
I am not a pop-a-joint doc. The odds are strong there is a soft-tissue condition tied to your joint problem. If I do not address both, I am doing you a disservice by just making your joints "crack" and taking your money. There will also be no high-pressure sales tactics. I will not scare you with big 30-plus visit treatment plans. I use actual evidence and research to back my procedures, and as my patient you will be part of the process with "homework" designed specifically for you. The homework is typically exercises and stretches meant to keep you from having to come back for months on end.
Straight talk and results
It is simple: my goal is to get you better as quickly as possible so you can get back in the game-be that professional sports or chasing the grandkids. When you feel better fast, you stay happy and you tell your friends and family about your experience here. For a different-and if I may be so bold, better-chiropractic experience, give me a call at (208) 996-4839 today.
